‘Standing for Humanity’ is the motto of the Mediterranean Conference hosted by the Red Cross Society of Bosnia and Herzegovina. During the event, National Societies will have the opportunity to discuss the humanitarian challenges they are facing in the region.
Sarajevo 2nd to 5th of April
This second edition of the meeting for Youth Leaders will be organized prior to the 13th Mediterranean Conference, and aims at providing young representatives the possibility of sharing views and opinions on the humanitarian challenges of the region.

The goal of the Conference is to promote the Fundamental Principles of the International Red Cross and Crescent Movement, to facilitate the dissemination of International Humanitarian Law and to develop peace, cooperation, understanding and friendship amongst the National Societies in the Mediterranean area in the framework of the Strategy of the International Federation.
The 26 National Societies members of the Mediterranean Conference are the Albanian Red Cross, Algerian Red Crescent, Andorran Red Cross, Red Cross Society of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatian Red Cross, Cyprus Red Cross Society, Egyptian Red Crescent Society, French Red Cross, Hellenic Red Cross, Magen David Adom in Israel, Italian Red Cross, Lebanese Red Cross, Libyan Red Crescent, Malta Red Cross Society, Moroccan Red Crescent, Red Cross of Monaco, Red Cross of Montenegro, Palestine Red Crescent Society, Portuguese Red Cross, Red Cross of the Republic of San Marino, Red Cross of Serbia, Slovenian Red Cross, Spanish Red Cross, Syrian Arab Red Crescent, Tunisian Red Crescent and Turkish Red Crescent Society.
